LostFocus

Hi, I'm Dominik Schwind, friend of the internet. Here is /now.

There are a couple of ways you can follow me around on the internet. The prefered way would probably be with a feed reader - here is my RSS feed.

If you need more direct access, you can follow me here with Mastodon or similar sites: @dominik@nona.social. You can also follow this blog via @dominik@lostfocus.de.

Seven!
Now that I’ve got your attention, let’s keep going.

On Tuesday was another Photowalk/Meetup in Basel and it was fun – even though it was rather chilly and I didn’t really have any results.

But much to my surprise my new favourite food stall at Markthalle – Dragon Girl Dumplins – was open, so that was nice. (I’ll go for the dumpling and duck set the next time again, though – the soup is really good, but the set is even better.)

On Friday I took the train up to Cologne – for celebrating Teymur’s birthday over the weekend and for various work-related appointments next week. Ate too much on Saturday – breakfast! Coffee and cake with Alex, his little daughter and Teymur! Huge birthday dinner at Ganesha! and now it is Sunday, I’m relaxing on the couch at my AirBnB rental, writing this post while looking forward to Black Panther tonight.

/now

  • Remotely working at Pooliestudios
  • Trying to sort out my brain, my life and my belongings in a way that I’ll be able to move to Cologne and remove that remotely from that first sentence.
  • I’ve been looking at JS Graph libraries to visualize my Reporter data. There’s a lot out there, the really good ones are rather pricey, though.

Useless Stats

Cups of coffee I had since the last update: 20
Amount of sleep I’ve gotten since the last update: 46 hours, 16 minutes. That is definitively not enough. I’ll probably take another nap after writing this.
I listened to 200 songs by 141 artists, the song I’ve listened to the most was Robot Man by OMD and I don’t even remember that. That’s the danger of having Spotify on shuffle running in the background while working, I guess.
I watched 8 episodes of 4 television shows, with Terrace House: Boys x Girls Next Door being the show with the most episodes, again.
