Hi, I'm Dominik Schwind, friend of the internet. Here is /now.

There are a couple of ways you can follow me around on the internet. The prefered way would probably be with a feed reader - here is my RSS feed.

If you need more direct access, you can follow me here with Mastodon or similar sites: @dominik@nona.social. You can also follow this blog via @dominik@lostfocus.de.

It’s the year of our lord two thousand twenty and I can neither figure out nor google how to change the clock in the date/time picker of the WordPress block editor to 24 hours.

I HATE the @WordPress block editing feature.

I know that doesn’t help you (sorry) but I just felt a need to get that off my chest to someone who might know what I’m talking about.

It’s pretty obvious it’s not really “done” yet – I keep trying to learn to like it, since it’s obviously the future of WordPress, but it’s not an easy process.

I use MarsEdit now to maintain my blog and various sites. I actually compose poses and pages in HTML. Call me old school, but there it is.

I also DREAD making changes to site layout and ONLY use WordPress-created themes. It shouldn’t be a chore to maintain a web presence.

I am sticking to the old editor menus, and using the Classic editor plugin.
