“I’ll have some time to work on my little side project that I started last year between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.”
Sometimes I surprise myself with my own idiocy. Because that’s never how it works.
The one library doesn’t work with the other library any more, the base language is deprecated anyway, and while the dev environment would run on this operating system, it does not work with this specific chipset.
Once I get this running, turns out that the public API that I used for a feature has gone away. And there is a memory leak in one of the components I’m using as well.
Maybe I’ll just scrap all of this and just build stuff on top of WordPress. I can throw that on any old VM and/or hosting provider and it will work.

Maybe I’ll learn the trombone. It’s a nice gift for the neighbors, too.
